Our certificates comply with international standards and guarantee quality and confidence.
We process our products exclusively in accordance with the following EU guidelines and regulations. Our Mattighofen site was one of the first collection points to be authorised in Austria and continues to set hygiene and cleanliness standards today. Only in this way can we carry out the strict implementation of the necessary and essential standards.
Our operations are monitored by the authorities on an ongoing basis. Our customers are invited to see the cleanliness and transparency of our operations by viewing our certificates at any time.
Certified according to:
• Regulation (EC) 853/2004, Section XIV, in its current
version, as an intra-community collection point for hides for
the production of edible gelatine
• Veterinary monitoring number: AT 40756 EG
• Regulation (EC) 1243/2007 as adopted on
24 October 2007 to amend Annex III of Regulation (EC) no.
853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council
with specific hygiene regulations for food products derived
from animals.
• Regulation (EC) no. 1774/2002 of the European Parliament
and of the Council dated 3 October 2002, stipulating
hygiene regulations for animal by-products not destined
for human consumption.
• Regulation (EEC) no. 2454/93 laying down
provisions for the implementation of Regulation (EEC) no.
2913/92 of the Council establishing the Community
Customs Code, amended by Regulation (EC) no.
312/2009 of 16 April 2009, OJ (EU) L 98/2009, page 3, of
17 April 2009, in accordance with Section 1 no. 16 of the
provisions for the implementation of the Community
Customs Code.
